Relaxation in a can. Canadian "Slow Cow" ~ an idea whose time has come

People running around, stressed out, sipping Red Bull just to keep going.  That’s pretty much the average American lifestyle.

Leave it to a Canadian to invent the “anti-energy” drink, Slow Cow (how ingenious is that?…bet the Red Bull folks are wishing they’d thought of that!).

According to the development team, the drink is made of mostly natural ingredients such as chamomile, passion flower and valerian, that are meant to calm without making the consumer drowsy.  One other ingredient is billed as the best kept secret in medicine, L-Theanine, an amino acid found in tea plants said to induce a relaxed, yet focused state of mind.

I LOVE this idea!  Realtors could have a case of this on hand for our anxious buyers and sellers.  Keep everyone nice and relaxed.  Better yet, I’d like to hand a can or two out to some of the cranky Agents I’ve had to deal with lately.

The drink currently is sold only in Quebec, but there are plans in the works to bring the drink to the US.  I say…c’mon Slow Cow, get a move on(drink a little Red Bull if you have to) and get that “Can O’ Yoga” over to the US, where it’s desperately needed!

Comments

  1. Genius idea from the Canadians.

  2. Slow cow is an excellent innovation to those of us in need of relaxing after weeks of doubles and all nighters. I can’t wait for it to hit the USA market, the only thing a like we have is “Drank” and though a two hour drive to Lima from the glass city it better than going to Canada I would much rather prefer just going to my local super market.

  3. Thanks for your comment. I’m looking forward to it as well. Relaxation…it’s a good thing!

  4. Dear Amy. I’m an MSc Management student at Cass Business School, City University of London. I’m doing a project about Slow Cow and as it is an emerging brand, information about it is really limited on the web. Is there any chance if you have some information and send me to it?
    Regards
    Kave
