Chandler AZ and surrounding East Valley 4th of July Fireworks

chandler-az-fireworksI used to LOVE fireworks when I lived in the Midwest.  Temps were moderate though usually muggy (with fireworks sometimes being cancelled due to fog!) and except for having to be slathered in mosquito repellant (nothing like snacking on popcorn with a slight aftertaste of “Off” Repellant), it was a good time.

I’ve gone to 3 fireworks shows in the Valley since moving here in 2001.  Depending on which show you’re attending, you may still need that mosquite repellant if you’re sitting in a grassy area and you’ll also need a lot of water because it’s HOT.  Even after’re sweating.  I don’t like to sweat which is why I’ve only been to 3 fireworks shows.  But…I digress~

Here’s a line up of the biggest shows in the area:

Ahwatukee Fireworks ~ Rawhide

Admission Fee for this one but if you want to experience the old west, probably worth the price of admission.
